FEES

Doctors providing services at Hills Women’s Health and Medical Practice charge a gap fee for face-to-face consultations as well as for telephone and video Telehealth consultations. Some services may be eligible for bulk billing.

All consultations are time-based and incur a fee (Medicare rebate plus a time-based gap fee). 

The gap fees are structured to reflect the time you spend with your doctor. They also depend on the complexity of your issues. Additionally, any procedures performed during your consultation affect the fees. The Medicare Benefits Scheme determines the Medicare rebate amount. The government sets this scheme based on the type of service and the time provided.

The listed gap fees show the maximum amount chargeable for the consultations. The final gap fee billed is at the doctor’s discretion and depends on the type, duration and complexity of the consultation.

A reduced gap fee or Bulk Billing direct to Medicare MAY apply to Pensioners and Veterans Affairs Cardholders.

Private billing will apply to all other patients.

Reduced fees may be offered to disadvantaged patients.

Full fees are payable on the day of consultation. Fees must be paid by credit card (VISA or Mastercard) or EFTPOS. Accounts are unfortunately not able to be given.

Our practice is connected to HIC Online. We offer on the spot Medicare Rebates via our Tyro machine. The Medicare Rebate is returned to your Debit Card within 11 seconds.
