Consultations are by appointments only. Please advise our friendly reception staff upon calling if you have any urgent concerns. If you wish to discuss several medical issues, please inform the receptionist that you will need a longer consultation.
Standard appointments are for 10- 15 minutes.
20-30-minute appointments are available for multiple problems and complicated problems.
45-60 minute appointments are available for mental health issues.
It is our wish to see patients as close to the time of their appointment as possible. However, sometimes the doctor may be running late due to an emergency or a patient requiring a longer consultation than expected. If the doctor is running late, all efforts will be made to contact you (by SMS) to let you know in advance. Alternatively, you may call before your appointment to check. If you are running late or unable to make the appointment, please let us know in advance so we can offer the appointment to another patient.
TEST RESULTS FOLLOW-UP
A brief follow up appointment may be required to discuss your results. Please call for further instruction about your results.

MEDICAL CERTIFICATE AND REFERRALS
Please note that medical certificates and referrals to specialists cannot be backdated. Patients need to be seen or assessed at the time of an illness for a medical certificate to be issued. Referrals for ongoing care may be requested by phone. New referrals require an assessment.
We are a private billing clinic. All consultations are time-based and attract a fee (Medicare rebate + time-based gap fee). Our fees are structured to reflect the time you spend with your doctor, the complexity of your issues, as well as any procedures performed during your consultation.
Bulk Billing direct to Medicare will apply to Pensioners and Veterans Affairs Cardholders.
Private Billing will apply to all other patients.
Reduced Fees may be offered to disadvantaged patients.
Fees are payable at the time of consultatioN. We accept VISA, Mastercard and EFTPOS. Accounts are unfortunately not able to be given.
Our practice is connected to HIC Online. This will enable patient claims to be lodged from our practice via the Internet to Medicare. You can elect to receive your rebate by Electronic Funds Transfer into your bank account or by cheque.
